Feature description:
Bi-spindle chuck = spindle + cylinder + quick chuck; the three main parts are integrated into one new critical part of cutting tools. Traditional workpieces require machining and chamfering on both ends (planes). Conventionally, a reference plane is turned on one end, and then switching to the other end to finish the machining procedure. Bi-spindle chucks may be more convenient and time saving. The spindle rotates to grip the workpiece on both ends for turning at the same time. The machining time is substantially reduced and the precision is enhanced, and the coaxiality of both ends may be promoted to zero.
Notice:
Whole new pneumatic/hydraulic bi-spindle chucks were developed to enhance waterproof and dustproof functions. ER collet series were adopted for high precision (≦0.03mm), and C-50 collets and above adopt self-made spindles with high rigidity, and main body castings adopt FCD-45 with bi-piston and bi-collet designs. As the designs of customer machine tools advance, the installation of spindles requires taking water and chip removal into consideration; therefore, the spindle designs of our company have different angle arrangement designs to meet customer requirements.
